The Company has dedicated office team from marine background to support our floating staff on board our managed vessel, round the clock. It includes ex-Master Mariners, ex-Chief Engineers, Marine Personnel Officers, Technical Officers, Accountants etc.

The Company has strong IT systems to meet the requirements of today’s Ship Management Services. It includes web based Crew Management, Purchase Management & QHSE Management Systems. Ship Specific Planned Management System may be developed by our experienced software team, at the request of ship owner.

Our solid relationships with first-class suppliers, workshops and marine service providers ensure that our principals consistently receive reliable and high-quality service at the lowest possible price. Our highly qualified and capable teams closely monitor the commercial performance of managed vessels and manage the commercial risks faced by our Principals during the course of employment of their vessels.

We monitor the vessels' performance closely to ensure optimum operating efficiency. Further, ships under our management are inspected at regular intervals by the superintendent concerned to follow up on all aspects of shipboard operational matters and to maintain an active contact with the vessel. Owners are provided with vessel inspection reports for the visit.

    DREDGING


    Dredging is highly skilled and specialized field with very limited set of people with exposure and experience to operate in such pressing and demanding conditions of today’s market. Pelagia Marine Services Pvt. Ltd.(PMS) is a PIONEER in third party dredger management in compliance with the ISM Code, providing total management services to Dredger Owners in India and abroad including Dredging Corporation of India (DCI), a Govt. of India undertaking. PMS takes pride in the management of unique self propelled Cutter Suction Dredger (CSD) and Trailer Suction Hopper Drdgers (TSHD) for DCI.

    We understand and respect the capital intensive nature of dredging industry and we focus to operate the vessels with no or minimum downtime, keeping highly skilled floating staff on board and maintaining a network of professional team on site and at key locations. We also understand the significance of proper inventory management of large number spares maintained on board these specialized vessels in order to ensure continuous operation.

    We provide the dredger management services in accordance with Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Management Systems Standards appropriate to client's requirement.

    MAIN FLEET AND OTHER


    Resonant Marine Pvt. Ltd.has its own recruitment cell capable of providing experienced and competent seafarers to the ships.

    We supply crew for vessels of all types, both where we carry out full technical management as well as directly to client who wish to manage themselves. We tailor solutions to suit individual needs and requirements. Quality is the first thing that we focus and ensure that you receive nothing but the best!

    The focus is always on identifying how we can improve service delivery, such as ensuring stringent recruitment checks are in place to guarantee first-rate seafarer performance standards.

    The team, which is fully MLC 2006 compliant, determines the allocation of new vessels and fleets to particular Crew Management offices, based on seafarer availability and client requirements.

    We also look at identifying specific functions that can be streamlined to be more cost effective – supported by our commercial team who can offer client solutions on a ‘cost’ or on ‘lumpsum’ basis.

    However, saving money is never to the detriment of quality and safety, which will forever be our main priorities. In the year 2016, we extended our scope of maritime services from crew management to include full technical management and new building supervision, offering therefore a full range of ship management services for clients.

    The company also undertakes dredging projects and it has successfully executed trenching projects in Cuddalore (IL&FS) and Paradip (IOC).,


    INLAND DREDGING:

    The inland waterways sector is expected to provide ample opportunities for river and canal deepending and dredging work in the nect decade, and the private sector is expected to play a major role.

    Eyeing opportunity in this sector, PMS is planning to procure 3 new inland dredgers.

    With the acquisition of these vessels, we will be specialising in following activities:

    PROJECT CONSULTANCY


    Resonant Marine Pvt. Ltd. is capable of supporting Dredger Owners and Charterers to preserve their high value assets and execute their high value projects in the most efficient and professional manner.

    Our Project Management Consultancy includes: General Supervision: - We supervise the project on day to day basis with reference to contract agreement of the main dredging project.
    - Project monitoring, quality control including achievement of targets as envisaged in the dredging contract.
    - Scrutinise the Dredging Contractors’ detailed work programme keeping in view the overall interest
    - Scrutinise Contractor’s superintendence, personnel and suggest modifications, if any.
    - Supervision and monitoring of the maintenance dredging work of the client carried out by the Contractor and also ensure that these are satisfactory with particular reference to the technical requirements, recommendations / guidelines issued by client, safety of works, personnel and the general public.
    - We prepare and monitor Project network, bar chart, monthly progress report format,
    - We initiate advance actions for taking over of site and timely issue of suggestions to the client if any.

    Dredging Supervision:
    - We carry out regular inspection of the Contractor’s equipment, plant, machinery, installations, and ensure they are adequate and are in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Contract.
    - We ensure carrying out of rain bow / side casting dredging as per tender stipulation and calculation of quantity dredged through side casting / rain bowing.
    - On completion of maintenance dredging work, we provide to the client, photographs, detailed calculations in respect of achievements of targets etc, specifications of equipment installed etc. and obtain certificate from Employer in respect of satisfactory completion of work.
    - We can also deploy separate expert in Hydrographic survey for the purpose of supervising / monitoring hydrographical surveys.

    TECHNICAL CONSULTANCY


    a) Vessel Pre-Purchase Inspection:

    A comprehensive service is offered including advice on suitability for purchase of the vessel. We believe the difference between a good ship and a ‘great’ ship is the ability of the ship to consistently meet the demands of the shipping industry.

    Our experts have the knowledge and skills to evaluate the ships condition and provide a larger picture based on facts to the concerned Through our comprehensive tool and guidelines a complete assessment is made of the vessel with special emphasis on the following points:

  • The Hull, Deck areas, superstructure and accommodation.
  • Main Engine & Aux Engine and associated machinery.
  • Performance test during operation is done and analysed viz sea/shop test reports to assess health of all machineries as far as possible.
  • The condition of mooring equipment and onboard safety equipment.
  • The cargo handling system including IG plant, Framo systems, LPG compressor roomsand associated machinery, electrical equipment and instrumentation.
  • The Wheelhouse equipment’s and Navigation and radio equipment.
  • Checking of the vessels spare outfit and spare gear.
  • The standard and status of vessel’s maintenance.
  • The cargo and ballast tanks, service tanks and void spaces are inspected whenever possible.
  • To enable the prospective buyer to fully assess the overall condition of the subject vessel and evaluate its costs, we provide prospective owner with a comprehensive report by physical inspection of the vessel including associated onboard and classification records with photographs for correct and easy understanding of the vessel condition.
  • With our qualified team we ensure that every buyer meets his goal of pinning down on a good ship at fair price to meet their requirement.

  • b) New Building & conversion project Supervision:

    Resonant Marine has new building team which is vast experience in supervision. We provide a complete ship building team comprising of:

    The size of the ship building team will be adjusted in accordance with the stage of construction in order to minimize the costs to the client. Clients will be provided with a detailed budget and monthly cash flow requirements.

  • c) Dry-docking & conversion projects Supervision:

    Resonant Marine has carried out extensive research in the docking, voyage repairs & conversion projects and have narrowed down the areas where there are significant wastage and over expenses for reasons which with our expertise can be zeroed down and eliminated.

    As per our research growth of work in a shipyard can be avoided significantly if historical data are utilized and drydock specifications are written in a standard and error free format. We can help ship operators to identify most repair items, make reliable drydock plans, and generate accurate specifications, which may reduce the share of growth work by approximately 60% and save ship operators an average of 50% - 80% per drydock in growth costs. In retrospect, ship operators will have better knowledge of their vessels so they can preserve the capital value of ship assets and reduce the safety risk in ship operation.

    Our highly experienced Technical team assist Owners/Operators in carrying out Docking, Voyage repairs & Conversion projects and we have helped Owners/Operators save 30% - 35% of the docking cost with our expertise.

    In short Resonant Marine offers a Turnkey project on Drydocking where we attend the vessel three months prior docking of vessel and make the job specifications as required in line with the Owners, Charterers & other relevant third party requirement. The job specs are then sent to yards for quotes (to yards in countries as per the trading of the vessel). After quotes are received each item of the job spec is negotiated with every potential yard and a cost comparison sheet prepared and submitted to Owners for approval with our recommendation.

    After the approval process, yard is finalized and our representative who is ex chief Engineer and proficient in docking & repairs attends the vessel and carries out the docking repairs as per Class, Oil major and owner’s requirement. After completion of docking we Negotiate the final invoice with the shipyard to close the deal.

    ON BOARD TRAINING


    We believe that Onboard training is the vital key to run ships in an effective manner.Our empanelled team of management level seafarers are suited to conduct various trainings on board to meet the industry requirements.

    Training is specially designed keeping in mind the following aspects:
  • Technical training of junior engineers onboard for machinery specific operation & maintenance.
  • Training the crew to meet new regulations.
  • To impart best practices and train crew to prepare for PSC & Flag state inspections.
  • Preparations for SIRE / CDI inspections.

  • VOYAGE REPAIR


    Our team of technical consultant experts have many years of experience in the field who provide accurate and cost-effective technical solutions. Our team comprising of a superintendent, a supervisor accompanied by service team of fitters / fabricators / welders / riggers / painters / cleaners who provide the right technical expertise for structural repairs, fabrication, generator installations, routine engine overhauls, hydraulic equipment repairs and installation.

    We provide service for specialized jobs like turbocharger overhaul, crankshaft alignment and bridge equipment installation. Our team of experts can be deployed on board at short notice.

    Depending on the scope of work and workforce needed, we can vary the team structure and tenure on board suitable to our principal’s requirements.

    VETTING / CDI


    In the modern tanker business, vetting/CDI inspection plays a vital role in the commercial availability of the vessel. One poor inspection result can severely dent the earning capability of any vessel, its owner and / or charterer. Our team, at Pelagia Marine Services Pvt. Ltd., having served as Masters and Chief Engineers on all types of tankers, understand the significance of a good vetting/CDI inspection.


    We can support our valuable clients the following manner:

    1.Prepare the vessel for forthcoming vetting inspection
    2.Carry out a pre-vetting inspection and help ship staff to implement the necessary corrective / preventive actions and effectively close the observations noted during pre-vetting inspection.
    3.Advise ship owner to take necessary corrective and preventive action on the vetting observations.
    4.Assist ship owner to comment effectively on the vetting observations so as to reduce the risk of failure, if any.

    STORES AND SPARES SUPPLY


    Resonant Marine has a strong network of suppliers and distributors of Genuine parts and assemblies serving nearly any level of need for commercial marine parts and components to get our customers the parts they need as quickly as possible.

    We have also developed extensive contract with direct suppliers of spares from second hand market based out of Alang in India & Chittagong in Bangladesh and provide extensively tested marine equipment/machinery/spares.
